Confused about some expression, word or phrase about Search Engine Optimisation? Relax! Here, you can find all the most common keywords and phrases used among search engine optimisers and in web copy about SEO:
- Long Tail Keywords are simply a string of multiple words, such as ‘Cheap New York Hotel’. Long tail keywords are often considered to be very targeted, and at the same time, competition is usually not as hard as shorter words (Example: New York Hotel)
- PageRank: A website measuring tool founded by Larry Page, which characterize how good a website is. Google have a patent for this tool, which goes from 0-10.
- Search Engine Friendly refers to posts, articles and websites written with search engine optimisation in mind. Basically, it follow all the chapters in SEO school.
- Search Engine Optimisers are people working with website optimisation. Read more about what search engine optimisers does on a daily basis.
- TrustRank: A patent granted for search engines analysing web content.
